A blast from the past...

You may have noticed a lack in my blogging lately. I have a good excuse, my camera broke. It was he last day of school water party that did it in I think! Joni was kind enough to loan me her camera for Chloe's party but we have had no fresh pictures since. Anyway, I thought I would take you on a little trip through memory lane and post some old school pictures (like so old that I had to scan them in, who needs digital?)

We will start off with me as a young child, maybe 3ish. I think its obvious but I am the one on the far left.

Here is Billy's family when he was a youngin. You can tell he is ALOT older then me by the style of clothes right!!!

Flash forward to high school, our glory days! I was on the swim team and this is at our state swim meet at BYU, but I couldn't tell you if this was 97 or 98. Either way, lots of fun, I loved swim team and I am in the process of talking my kids into going that direction! (Shhh don't tell Billy)

Here is Billy with a baseball trophy. Im going to go out on a limb here and say they won state and he was a senior (that part is a total guess) He is napping right now or I would find out more details. I actually enjoy baseball too, and would allow the kids to play that sport, its wrestling I'm totally against.

Okay you might start recognizing us now. This is a picture of us the very first night we officially "hung out" together. It wasn't our first date but still pretty fun to have! This was in August of 1999.

And if you cant tell by the attire, this is our wedding day! Hope I'm not showing to much leg here, haha! The photographer seriously made him take that thing of with no hands, it was funny and akward!

Here comes the good stuff, a select few of you have been fortunate enough to see some amazing pics of us in the Army but to those who haven't, this is my little gift to you!!! Can you find me?? I kind of hope not! This is actually in basic training, I wasn't that hideous the entire time I was in the army.

We were still in training during 9-11, which was seriously scary. About a month after we were done and finally able to live together again my unit was supposed to be deployed to somewhere (I cant remember where and again, Billy prob does but he is still napping!) I got issued all this desert gear so we took pictures of course. We didn't end up going on that deployment and I hurried and got pregnant to avoid any future deployments!

Oh and this is my scary face, I got in trouble in basic all the time for smiling and laughing to much but somethings you just cant change!

So me getting pregnant didn't really help Billy with the deployment issue! Here he is in Oklahoma just 6 weeks after Carter and Cooper were born. Not nice Army, not nice. Doesn't that cot look super comfy to sleep on for 2 months!

I was really hesitant to include this one for a few reasons; 1- my pasty white skin thanks to living in the state of washington where the sun shines about 3 days of the year, 2- Billy's sweet hair cut and, 3- my rather large pregnant body. In the end I decided it might be good to prepare all those people who don't believe me when I say I get HUGE in my pregnant state. Get ready it's coming and it's not pretty when it does!
