TWINS???

Okay so these pictures are about 3 years old but they popped up on the computer today and I hadn't seen them for a while. I can't tell you how much I love these pictures. I thought if blogging was around then I would have totally blogged these, so I am doing it today instead! Who says blogging is only for current pictures?

I love that the boys are sleeping in almost the exact same position, only their feet are being crossed differently! It is just like them, almost exactly the same, just a few little things make them SO different. Anyway, I just really love them! (The boys and the pictures!)

see ya later softball!!

So here is our softball team, the portion of it that made it through the whole season anyway! (minus Jen, a crucial member!) We started out quite a bit bigger but it was really tough, especially when kids were involved, and slowly the team dwindled. We may not have been the most skilled team out there but we looked good, we had the most fun and, we were for sure the most improved by this last game! The first team we played beat us by about 22 runs, when we played them again just 6 weeks later they only beat us by 2! I took my camera to almost every game but I never actually snapped any pictures until this last day. I am glad we did it, it was tons of fun, but I am also glad it is over!

Here is Billy hitting his home run, well it was a good hit anyway maybe not a home run but a good one!

Here he is rounding first from another good hit! I wish I had a picture of his totally unnecessary slide into home that took him about a week to recover from but I dont so just picture it! My mom said she hopes that image never leaves her head-he kept us laughing all season long.

Here is a picture of our intense pitcher, she was really awesome, oh wait thats me! Yes thats right for some reason I was trusted as the pitcher, and I pitched every game the whole game except one. I can honestly say that was our first game and I just didn't get that I wasn't supposed to throw it to the catcher but that the ball should land on the plate. Once I realized that I wasn't as bad. I wish I had a picture of my "slide" at home also. I am going to call it that anyway, nevermind that it was after I crossed home plate!

The picture of a satisfied team walking off the feild after getting their third out! Really, it was so much fun and I hope we can do it again next year!

Concused Campbell

I have to dedicate todays blog to my sweet little Campbell, he had a traumatic day yesterday. It started out as an innocent day of shopping;the mall, Lowes, and Costco. Just that part was traumatic enough for Campbell, he seriously hates shopping. The day took a turn for the worse once we got to Costco. Campbell was in the back of the cart (bad mom, I know but thats the only place he doesn't scream) he saw some beautiful jewlery in the case and dove for it. Unfortunately he fell, hit the back of his head on the corner got a little cut and then fell all the way out and landed on the concrete floor. He cried for a while, then he fell asleep but it was nap time anyway so I really thought he was fine. I woke him up as soon as we got out to the parking lot just to be sure he was fine and everything looked okay, he laughed a little and then he threw up everywhere! So we headed right to the ER. Fun times. Luckily my sister Joni was with me so she kept Chloe-I can't imagine how fun that would have been. Anyway, two hours, 1 CT scan, and a screaming baby later he was sent home with a concusion. About thirty minutes after we got to the ER he was back to his normal self and I started thinking I wasted time and money by taking him there but I guess its one of those better safe then sorry situations.

The love triangle

Yes thats right people this is a picture of the beloved Payton with Cooper and Carter! I went on a field trip with the boys today up to Zion. When I got to the school their teacher handed me a list of my group and it was Carter, Cooper, and Payton. I accused her of encouraging their romance and she said she just really wanted me to see firsthand how funny they act together. It was such a fun trip (thanks to Emilee for watching Chloe and Campbell, without you none of this would have been possible)I am so glad I got to go.

Here they are again, the lovebirds! Honestly though, I saw nothing out of the ordinary going on but I did start to notice that she kept ending up right between them!

I just had to remind the boys that I am the only girl they need in their life right now.

Here is the whole class, see if you can spot the teacher, I bet you cant! We had so much fun, this is at weeping rock-so cool- there is just water pouring out of the side of this mountain. All the other pictures were taken along the trail of the River Walk which was also very beautiful. It was such a great day, even the weather was perfect!

Welcome to our table

So last night we were sitting down for dinner and I just wanted to share with you a little bit of what our dinner conversations are like. I had made a delicious meatloaf for the family and we were all quietly enjoying it when Carter comes up with this, "Mom, did you find a pig, kill it and get its meat and make this?" So I of course took all the credit and said "YES I did!" I guess Cooper wasn't buying it though because he said, "No you didn't, we don't even have a gun." Where do they come up with this stuff? I wont even tell you about one morning last week when I was innocently making them some scrambled eggs and they started begging me to put a whole egg in the microwave so we could hatch a baby chick! Needless to say, I just had cereal that morning.

Science Fair Madness

Well we did it, we entered the science fair this year. I don't know why I encouraged them, I thought it would be fun but it was mostly a pain in the butt! I guess we had a little bit of fun, the boys loved the experimenting part but they wanted nothing to do with any kind of thinking or writing! I was determined not to be one of "those parents" so I made them sit down and give me a few of their own words I could type up. Carters hypothesis is a great example, " I think everybody will smell differently because they all smell a little different." (We're talking sense of smell here, not body odor!) In the end we had a good time, I think it might have been a little easier if I wasn't fighting for their attention with Billy carving up pinewood derby cars. Next year I will ban him from doing any kind of fun activities during science fair week, then science will be totally interesting!

This is Coopers project. He did the old stand by of testing how long different things take to freeze. He froze water, hair gel, yogurt, paint, syrup, and (his favorite)chicken noodlle soup juice. His hypothesis was, "I think yogurt will freeze the fastest because of frozen yogurt." He was wrong, it was water, in case you were wondering!

Carters masterpeice. This kid was so stubborn, he had the idea of mixing things together and making people smell them to see if they were stinky or not. I could not talk him out of it! I really couldn't figure out how to turn that into a science project and he didn't really care he was only concerned with grossing people out with his smelly stuff. It finally came to me the night before the science fair(when we were doing all the work of course, why would we have done it any earlier?) So we put a little twist on it and recorded who thought what smelled good and tried to compare peoples sense of smell. I dont think it made any sense at all but I did the best I could!

I had to throw this one in because I just want you all to know that I am not to ashamed to take Chloe out in public with her hand me down superman jammies on AND have Campbell in the pretty pink stroller with his jammies on WHILE he is eating his nutritious frozen waffe for breakfast! So there, that's what kind of Mom I am!

Girls night out

I am reposting this flyer for my cousin who is hosting this awesome event. I realize that most people who read my blog are my family members so most of you already know about it but for the few who aren't related here you go! You can find more info at www.theprombomb.com. I wished I lived up North so I could go, or actually I wish I could just go away or the weekend and make it a "girls weekend out"!

P.S. sorry I dont know how to make the link actually work! Maybe I could take the time to figure it out if I wasn't fighting Campbell for use of the keyboard!
