A visit with Lexi
We were fortunate enough to have a visit from Lexi and Melissa one weekend in February. Chloe took a liking to Lexi, and Melissa was kind enough to let her help feed those cheeks!
Campbell even got in on the action, whatever Chloe does Campbell does! (This was a good reminder to me why I SHOULDN'T have another baby anytime soon)
Chloe even got to burp her a little. She really was loving it, even though she doesn't look very happy in this picture!
Everything was going pretty good until Grandma came into the picture. Campbell was NOT okay with Lexi being on Grandmas lap at his house. He is not one to just sit back and take it either, and I am glad to know he can stand up for himself! Seriously, it was so funny, he started out on Grandpas lap and realized that there was "another baby" with Grandma and he dove right in between them! Not just once but about three or four times, we would move him out from between them and back he would go.
It really was so fun though, what a sweet fat little baby! It has been a few weeks now and Chloe still talks about "Wexi" all the time. She has great names for a lot of her cousins actually, she loves to look through the Thanksgiving book from Lindsay and name all of them; Marker, Pencer, Necca, Uncle Cordy, and Aunt En-e-mul. That last one is Emilee, if you didn't guess, I don't know why but that one really throws her! I am so greatful to be a part of this wonderful family and wish we could see everyone a little more often!

Oh my gosh! How funny is Campbell! That is sweet of Chloe to be such a big helper. Glad you guys had a fun visit!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture that really shows off her cheeks and arms...they really are her best assets! Chloe is so cute. Spencer hoovers over Lexi when she is here.
ReplyDeleteCute, I love the pic of Mom with the babies. Campbell is so funny! That's great that he knows his territory well. Isn't Lexi the cutest? We love those cheeks, too! We'll be down to visit you guys in a few weeks!
