FHE
Can you guess what our FHE was about tonight??? I'll give you a clue, it rhymes with pimples. Yep, you got it, it was about temples! I was so excited to have this lesson tonight because this Friday we are going to take the kids to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and I thought this was a good opportunity to teach them about the appropriate behavior in the temple BEFORE we get there. It was a really fun lesson we talked about the "steps" you take to get to the temple and they each got to walk their little paper doll up the steps to the temple. They liked that part but once that was over we got to make our own temples out of marshmallows, that was a hit with the kids! Of course Billy made the best temple and all the kids wanted him to make one for them too!
Coopers was a close second, he made a flat version of the temple and I thought he did a great job!
Campbell didn't even try, he just ate his temple!
Chloe's temple ended up a cute little snowman that daddy made for her!
Cooper was in charge of dessert and he really wanted cherry sundaes, he talked about them all week. He didn't really care what was on the bottom, as long as it was topped with cool whip and cherries! It was a fun night for us and we cant wait to travel up north this weekend and see all those we haven't seen for a while, or seen at all yet!!

An insight into the future???
Billy had laid these plans out on our bed one night after work and then left them there while he jumped in the shower and this is what he found when he came out!
I know they looked posed but I swear he was really interested.
He looks pretty happy to me, if he is anything like his dad this probably is where he will end up!
So this is just a funny little story I wanted to add on. The other day I was at Costco with all the kids and on our way out we had a little "scene" at the water bottle vending machine. Chloe really really wanted her own bottle of water. By the time we made it out to the car she was fine, and had forgotten the whole thing, or so I thought! On our way home I picked up the mail and there was a card for Chloe in there from Grammy and Papa. After unloading all the kids and the goods I sat on the bed with her to open the letter. She slowly opened the card and when she saw the 2 dollar bill fall out her eyes lit up and she said "now I can get my own drink at costco!"
You can see the genuine excitement here in this picture, who would have ever thought that a bottle of water would have been her favorite birthday present!
So a BIG THANK YOU to Grammy and Papa for making Chloe's third birthday the best it could be!

Chloes Birthday Luau
Here are all the kids at Chloes party, sitting on her present! I think its a descent picture considering how many kids are in it! There was only one of the cousins that we couldn't get on the tramp and that was Carson so I will post one of his glamour shots next!(okay I just realized that you can't see carter in this picture, he is in it and if you look REALLY close you can see the top of his blonde head right behind Ryannes! So technically they are all in it!)
I'm serious he gets cuter and cuter everytime I see him!
In case you forgot how Chloe feels about cupcakes, heres a pic to remind you that SHE LOVES THEM!! (So much that she got frosting all in her hair and eyebrows!)
We had a few fun activities, this is the kids having a potato sack race, I think Spencer one that one!
And of course you cant have a luau without a limbo! It was my favorite part of the party watching all the kids try to limbo, some were good and some were entertaining! Jackson did some type of roll whenever his turn was up but I could never get a picture, it was creative!
Now those are some serious limbo skills!
Of course regular limbo wasnt dangerous enough for the older kids so they had to turn it into a high jump competition! As you can see Morgan was pretty good at this too, but not to be outjumped by.....
T.J. Oh no, he couldn't resist, he was by far the best high jumper at the party!
