First Grade Love Letters
The boys are in first grade this year and one of my favorite things about it is all the letters they bring home. They always say "centers" is their favorite part of school and this is one of the centers they have. They get to write letters to anyone in their class and deliver them to each others cubby. They usually bring letters home that someone wrote them which is cute to see what their friends say to them. This letter is from a little girl that I fear both of the boys have the hots for (Cooper told Grandpa that Carter LOVES her!!) SO this was one of my favs for a while for obvious reasons but then in the past two weeks Cooper brought home these next two letters that are by far my new favorites, again for obvious reasons!
For those who don't read first grader here is the translation"Dear Cooper I am writing to myself. I love me. I am always winning video games. I ??? punching myself.
"Dear Cooper(notice that he misspelled his own name here) I am really exciting. Cooper"
*I also have an older letter from Carter to Cooper I will try to find it because it was way cute too!

Super Bowl Party (as promised)
So here we are tripled up on seating for the big game. We had quite a few people over and not quite as many chairs!
Here are a few of the guests authentically cheering, I swear it's not posed! Aaron, Debbie, Shelley, Kay, and Campbell
Here are a few more
Codee, Joni, Eric, Karen, Carter, Cooper, and Chloe. Joel, Liz, and Preston showed up after I put the camera away so no pics of them, but they were here!
Then this strange guy showed up and sat in our recliner through the whole game, we all assumed he was there with someone else, turns out no one knows who he is!! A little freaky right.
I couldn't leave this one out! What a mooch!
Now we are getting into the good stuff. These are actually the pre-party party. Any time we have extra hands around we feel the need to bust out the rockband! Billy puts on a pretty good show, he really loves Bon Jovi!
Yes he is standing on the coffee table. We almost lost it (the table) there towards the end and I had to make him jump down.
I don't know how Billy feels about me posting this one (actually I think I do) but hey I warned him once I started the blog that if I could catch it on camera it was fair game! I told you, he gets really into it. Sometimes it's a little scary, he is like the Rockband nazi, and if you don't perform up to his standards you better hide cause it's gonna get ugly!

Totally frustrated!!!
Okay this isn't what I had in mind when I started my blog but you know we all need a place to complain every once in a while. I cant find any clothes anywhere!!! I need some professional help, seriously, if anyone wants to nominate me for "What Not to Wear" I promise I wont be offended. I took advantage of Billy getting home a little early yesterday by going shopping all alone! (I always thought that my problem was I couldn't really look when I had the kids with me) It didn't help at all. I was really counting on Christensens but they gave me nothing. Really, does anyone want their hiney hanging out of their pants? I don't and I also don't want to pay 200 bucks for a pair of pants, although at this point if they fit good I might! So after about 20 pairs of jeans struck out I moved on to shirts, still nothing. Okay I'm lying I got 1 shirt, 1 shirt after 3 hours of shopping totally not worth it! So all I'm asking is if you know of a great pair of jeans, please help a girl out!! ( no more of these for a while I swear!)

Who says diamonds are a girls best friend???
'Cause I am pretty sure we can all agree that cupcakes are a WAY better friend than diamonds! And I don't think it's just the little girls either, I cant tell who was more excited Chloe or Joni!
Billy took the boys to a birthday party at Laser Mania on Saturday (which I regretfully don't have any pictures of) so Chloe, Campbell, and I hit up our favorite cupcake shop and splurged! I am not afraid to admit it, we had two each! These are not your ordinary cupcakes either, I imagine it was like eating four regular cupcakes. That was the day I told weight watchers to go to H...E...double hockey sticks. Anyway, it was a blast, Campbell attacked the cupcakes and I was pretty impressed how clean he stayed.
Chloe was a great big sister and let Campbell finish the last half of her first cupcake and then quickly asked for a new one. Joni, Jackson, and Karen met us there but they are cupcake wimps and only had one each-sissies!
When the party was all over we picked up the boys and did a little super bowl food shopping and headed home. Later that evening after Aaron and Debbie arrived we busted out the rock band and boy was Billy gettin' into the Bon Jovi. (Pictures coming soon!) So there it is my 2nd complete post, I couldn't be more proud of myself!
