Can you guess what our FHE was about tonight??? I'll give you a clue, it rhymes with pimples. Yep, you got it, it was about temples! I was so excited to have this lesson tonight because this Friday we are going to take the kids to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and I thought this was a good opportunity to teach them about the appropriate behavior in the temple BEFORE we get there. It was a really fun lesson we talked about the "steps" you take to get to the temple and they each got to walk their little paper doll up the steps to the temple. They liked that part but once that was over we got to make our own temples out of marshmallows, that was a hit with the kids! Of course Billy made the best temple and all the kids wanted him to make one for them too!

An insight into the future???
Billy had laid these plans out on our bed one night after work and then left them there while he jumped in the shower and this is what he found when he came out!
He looks pretty happy to me, if he is anything like his dad this probably is where he will end up!
So this is just a funny little story I wanted to add on. The other day I was at Costco with all the kids and on our way out we had a little "scene" at the water bottle vending machine. Chloe really really wanted her own bottle of water. By the time we made it out to the car she was fine, and had forgotten the whole thing, or so I thought! On our way home I picked up the mail and there was a card for Chloe in there from Grammy and Papa. After unloading all the kids and the goods I sat on the bed with her to open the letter. She slowly opened the card and when she saw the 2 dollar bill fall out her eyes lit up and she said "now I can get my own drink at costco!"
You can see the genuine excitement here in this picture, who would have ever thought that a bottle of water would have been her favorite birthday present!

Chloes Birthday Luau
Here are all the kids at Chloes party, sitting on her present! I think its a descent picture considering how many kids are in it! There was only one of the cousins that we couldn't get on the tramp and that was Carson so I will post one of his glamour shots next!(okay I just realized that you can't see carter in this picture, he is in it and if you look REALLY close you can see the top of his blonde head right behind Ryannes! So technically they are all in it!)

What's a mom to do?
It starts out like this,
an innocent switch from the cute girly swimsuit with a skirt on it to Campbells boy swimsuit with big sharks all over it.

Then she cries until I help her get the "spongebob" shoes on, so I do it.

You throw a little water into the mix and she figures "hey, this just isn't safe"

Soooo we bust out the floaties, but still, something is missing....

There we go, that's better! Have you ever seen a happier girl?

I swear people, she did this all on her own, I had nothing to do with it. In case you dont believe me I will show you one more thing she did all on her own;

This one goes out to all the other moms out there who are blessed with one sweet precious little girl, who happens to be a tomboy.
